Commitment. | The Rules of Courtship #3

Image
What is commitment? Commitment is dedicating yourself to the relationship. But, we cannot just conclude it at that explanation, as it is too short and anticlimactic. Okay well, what really is commitment? A relationship, when commitment is implemented, reinforces the integrity of your relationship. You will agree on your plans for the future, and you will  do everything you can to make aforementioned plans happen! Commitment can be implemented when you understand your partner, but are not afraid to see them change in the future.

Digging Deeper! | The Rules of Courtship #2

Now... before you say it, this article is not literal. I can't just post about shoveling. So, what is Digging Deeper ? Is it an obscure band? Or is it just about the act of digging? I appreciate those guesses, but no.  So in a formal conclusion; Digging deeper in a metaphorical sense, is exactly what it sounds like. It is about descending into the more serious topics during dates, like your plans for the future, where you would reside in the following decades, would you even have children?, and all those things. This entry was cut short as there isn't much to write about this, and I sincerely apologize.

Family & Approval. | The Rules of Courtship #1

So, you have successfully formed a courtship. And it's given knowledge that your guardians would have to know about this one way or another. Why is this step important, you may ask? And how shall it be pulled off? Well . It shouldn't be that difficult. People usually arrange a gathering, whether that be at a party, or just a simple dinner. (The dinner option would be more civilized.). Alright, well, with that out of the way, why is it important? Obviously, by the time you form a courtship, you should be mature, so it should be up to you to detect wether your partner is a decent person. So that's ruled out. Centuries ago, differences between family values, relgious beliefs, etc. had to be considered before a courtship is permitted to continue. And this still occurs today with modern families.  In my formal conclusion; hiding something like this just isn't practical whatsoever, as stated beforehand; your family would have  to find out somehow.
