Family & Approval. | The Rules of Courtship #1

So, you have successfully formed a courtship. And it's given knowledge that your guardians would have to know about this one way or another. Why is this step important, you may ask? And how shall it be pulled off?

Well. It shouldn't be that difficult. People usually arrange a gathering, whether that be at a party, or just a simple dinner. (The dinner option would be more civilized.).

Alright, well, with that out of the way, why is it important? Obviously, by the time you form a courtship, you should be mature, so it should be up to you to detect wether your partner is a decent person. So that's ruled out. Centuries ago, differences between family values, relgious beliefs, etc. had to be considered before a courtship is permitted to continue. And this still occurs today with modern families.

In my formal conclusion; hiding something like this just isn't practical whatsoever, as stated beforehand; your family would have to find out somehow.
